Gold Fashioned
Golden beets are a bit sweeter, less earthy, and mellower than red beets; this makes them a good match for already-flavorful whiskey, without overpowering the palate. Combined with honey, water, and bitters, this makes for a unique Old Fashioned.

Recipe:
½ oz Beet Honey *
1 Dash Aromatic Bitters (such as Angostura)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass (a pint glass will work, as well), add ice, and stir until chilled and properly diluted (approximately 10 to 15 seconds). Strain into a lowball glass over fresh ice, and garnish with a beet chip.
BEET HONEY:
4 oz Honey
2 oz Water
2 oz Golden Beet Juice
Combine ingredients and shake or stir until well combined. Use right away or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
