Cantaloupe Cooler
A second cantaloupe-based cocktail in as many weeks? Yes! The versatility of this gimlet-inspired cocktail makes the most of your leftover herbs and also lends itself to experimentation.

RECIPE:
2 oz Far North Spirits Sölveig Gin or
Anna’s Garden Gin2 oz Cantaloupe Juice
(or a 2” Cube of Cantaloupe)¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Simple Syrup *
Assortment of Torn Herbs
Soda Water
INSTRUCTIONS:
Lightly muddle cantaloupe cube (if using). Combine all ingredients (except soda water) in a shaker tin with ice. Shake hard; strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice. Top with Soda.
SIMPLE SYRUP:
1 cup white sugar
1 cup water
Heat over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat, then cool. Use right away or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
