Sage Advice
Now that our weather has finally taken a turn toward fall, we wanted to break out a classic 1-2-3 punch of autumnal flavors. The sage-apple combo is a nod to the start of the holiday season (only 6 weeks away!), with the sweetness of caramelized maple sugar to balance out the spicy, woody whiskey and tart lemon. Enjoy the change of season, and we’ll see you again in the Spring!

GLASSWARE: LOWBALL
Recipe:
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Real Maple Syrup
3 Sage Leaves, torn
1 oz Apple Cider
2 Dashes Orange Bitters (such as Dashfire)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a tin with ice and shake. Strain into an ice-filled lowball glass, and garnish with an additional sage leaf, spanked.
