Melon Baller Slushie

There’s nothing more refreshing in the summertime than watermelon; except, that is, for frozen watermelon. This slushie can be made non-alcoholic simply by omitting the gin. Either way, watch out for the brain freeze.

TIME: 5 MIN
GLASSWARE: Lowball

RECIPE:

  • 2 oz Far North Spirits Sölveig Gin

  • ½ cup Chopped Watermelon

  • ½ cup Ice

  • ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice

  • 1 oz Simple Syrup *

  • 3 Cilantro Stems & Leaves

INSTRUCTIONS:

Assemble ingredients in a blender; blend well. Serve in a lowball glass.

SIMPLE SYRUP:

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 1 cup water

Heat over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat, then cool. Use right away or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
