Feel The Power

A margarita made with reposado tequila isn't everyone's cup of...uh, well, booze.  While the resting, or aging, process replaces some of tequila's astringent flavor with woody notes, margaritas still bring back too many bad memories for some.

This tempered version of a margarita combines sweet, earthy, and slightly tangy ginger-carrot juice and bright Grapefruit Crema in a sweeter, patio-pounder recipe.

Recipe:

  • 2 oz Reposado Tequila
  • 1 oz Fresh-Made Carrot-Ginger Juice
  • ¾ oz Tattersall Grapefruit Crema

Instructions:

Combine ingredients in a shaker tin, and shake over ice.  Strain into an ice-filled lowball glass and garnish with a lime wheel.
